Commitment to Excellence

Travel soccer requires a significant commitment from players and parents - above and beyond what is normally expected in recreation leagues. Some of these areas include: additional practice time (2-3 days/week); travel to away games (weeknights and weekends); weekend tournaments (in and out of the Northern Ohio area); travel team uniforms; fund-raisers for tournament fees; footskill clinics. It is important to discuss these commitment issues as a family before deciding to play travel soccer.

Travel Tryouts

Travel team coaches conduct tryouts each season. Tryout dates and times will be posted at Heasley field and on the NRSC website. Players are evaluated on their speed, agility, endurance and ball handling skills.
