The NRSC Travel Program offers competitive-level soccer under advanced instruction. Teams play in the OHTSL (Ohio Travel Soccer League – OHTSL.COM ) against other Greater Cleveland area community travel programs.

Teams practice twice per week in addition to playing an 8-game fall and 8-game spring schedule.  Half of our 8-game Fall and Spring Schedules are played right here at Lucille Heasley Soccer Field, our home field.

Our teams compete in one local tournament in the Fall and one in the Spring. The additional tournament fee is $60 each. In October we play in The Ohio Travel Cup in Lodi. In Early June we play in The MIST in Medina. Every team and player is committed to participating in these tournaments, and all players are expected to meet the deadlines posted on www.nrsc.net for tournament registration. Travel players are also encouraged to participate in, as available, winter, indoor training, and off-season indoor leagues. These are also at an additional cost to the players.

Tryouts for the upcoming Fall/Spring soccer year are held the last week of May. Dates and times will be published on this page. An invitation to join the program for the fall & spring seasons will be sent to successful tryout candidates following the conclusion of the spring season in June. The email will include registration instructions & fees, as well as uniform ordering instructions & costs.

A complete uniform kit that should last several years is required for all travel players at an additional cost, currently between $120 & $130. Kits include 2Jerseys, shorts, & socks.

NOTE: Player candidates must reside within the North Royalton School District or attend a school within the North Royalton district boundary line.

Commitment to Excellence

Travel soccer requires a significant commitment from players and parents – above and beyond what is normally expected in recreation leagues.

Some of these commitments could include: Additional practice time (2-3 days/week); Travel to away games (weeknights and weekends); Weekend tournaments (in and out of the Northern Ohio area); Travel team uniforms; Fund-raisers for tournament fees; Footskill clinics.

It is important to discuss these commitment issues as a family before deciding to play travel soccer.
